Aluminum shelve
An aluminum shelve doesn’t have to be expensive if you can economizes a little bit in the choice. Ofcourse I find a complete system with blindness’s very nice (as I can configure you with also on-line on ENT website), but is it also really practical. As soon as the terrarium shelve forms a concluded wall, you get problems with the ventilation and the warm radiation appear by the lighting. Therefore, I renounce blindness, particularly as I have a hobby room. Maybe in a living room I would experiment and obstruct additional fans, but certainly it would be cost twice.
You can order a shelve by yourself, at the company 3D-plastic Stecksysteme (Hans Kintra GmbH). Because the catalogue is a little bit confusing and doen’t rise everybody immediately behind the mass, prices and different link, I simply put here a installation form of my last order as excel sample. Maybe it helps one or other and removes a few questions away. In the catalogue you find the maximum permissible load of 300 kg per shelve. I put my tanks directly on the square pipe and haven’t any problems jet. On the sides right and left I have added in each case 1 centimeter, so that the tanks can be put easily and also inferred again. The depth is precise, that is the side profile is to be ordered less 2x 2.5 cm. (Pelvic depth 50 cm of profile = 45 cm) This is the difference on the front and rear profile in combination with the links. By the height I add 10 cm for the lighting. The list prices refer in each case to the packaging unities. That doesn’t mean you can’t order singles. The price is calculated from the packaging unity by whole price. As a plug connector I consciously choose with steel core brilliant-galvanized. These are suitable particularly for rooms with high air humidity and cost only slightly more. Cuttings are calculated with 0.14 EUR. (1 cutting per profile) packing charges and dispatch to 200 cm long amount to 8.90 EUR. There is a less amount surcharge for smaller orders as well as discounts from 130. - EUR of order value of 10%. Because cash in advance is a standard with the first order, one can still stretch 3% of discount payment.
